The Joyful Editing

You know....pictures can sometime fool you...it could drag you to a non logical craving enthusiasm especially for mouthwatering food picture...at least for me.....I always feel hungry after surfing on  Foodgawker or Tastespotting and suddenly get an extra energy to cook and embrace it to the world ...*lebay* 

 

To my curiosity, I try to learn food photography now.  I bought Samsung Galaxy Camera and do a testing...It was far away from perfect and sometimes I feel like doing yoga as it made you sweating...to come into the best angle and best light, you have to twist here and there..you sit, you bend, you knee and you stand up! Afterwards, you need to sit nicely to do the photo editing and this part squeeze your creativity..such a joyful process I may say and I salute to all photographers!

Like I said, I really love my chalkboard and found 1000-ways to make it useful.  I play around with my camera now to write simple recipe and love the result.....

I just realized that having DIY Chalkboard is a very handy playground and tools for the children.  We could write anything we want or use as much as you like...creativity is the key! Let's race, honey.....you need not a fancy race line!

Another Tortilla experiment, another failed attempt!  I don't feel like am a pro baker...This is not as soft and chewy as expected...sigh!  And oh, surprisingly, the youngest likes it as he felt like eating kerupuk..haha..

 

Lazy Cooking

Sometimes, you just need some mouthwatering food...sometimes, you need not to worry to count any calories...sometimes you just need to be yourself and laid back on weekend!

Taman Mataram

Yipee....our weekend gym started here!  This newly built park always caught my attention on my way to the office from kiddos school.  I thought it's gonna be fun to play around doing some muscles job.  Located in Jalan Sisingamangaraja, we managed to play around on weekend.

The youngest loved it so much only missing the big bro' and requested to come again next week.  Of course, my dear...any cheap yet fun weekend leisure, momma will definitely approve!

Chilled Tempe

I thought I m not a picky eater...especially when I travel. I am always proud to pronounce myself as a foodie explorer and have found my joy of travelling on food.  

I seem confused to see my friend busy to bring homemade sambal or rendang as travel-mate...food supposed to be frontliner to understand the local culture, agree?

But the later days, i feel like I can eat anything but yet fulfilling.  After couple days travelling, I will be craving and crying for my local food..I guess that's the beauty of getting old,isn't it?

Here is one of the craving, sambal tempe a.k.a. tempe penyet a.k.a. chilli tempe which ever you want to call it...I wish I could freeze it and be my oh-travel-food-to-go!

Mixing Boys

And...happy to see the boys working as my joyus mixing assistants for the choco chips...considered as an easy task though, but as long as they're happy, momma is happy too!
