I always urge myself to make my garden greener and greener....and now I started collecting - well, slowly and in a pot of course - all the fruity type of trees like guava and star fruit.  This will include my dream to introduce my kidos to the shape of the fruit right from the trees itself so they won't be any clueless.  It will be good also for their childhood memories someday as I did today remembering how my mom taught me to love flowers, and trees so they could inherit this to their children.....Insya Allah!

Payon Kemang

I was having lunch at Payon Resto Kemang last weekend.  I really love the place...it's an eye-drolling, so vintage, open space with the lovely greenery..my kinda dream garden.  They also had warong selling traditional toys! Gosh, I wish I could steal the look...

Too bad the place was too quite when I came, only one or two came in.  Payon Kemang surrounded by the most happening places in Kemang filled with the well-known international franchises.......Even my kidos  were so excited and thought that we'll be eating burgers before we got there (sigh!)

After all, luckily, they enjoyed being there as they could run back and forth with their pinwheels and magnifier, the ones they bought from the warong.  I promised to myself to bring my kidos more often so they could feel the kampong ambience more and more...

Weekend project - 3

My last project on last weekend.  I was planting my - dirty - carport wall with dollar leaves.  I think the leaves will be pretty much beautiful covering the wall areas.  I just found out this was so cheap,...only two thousands rupiah per plant.  I was willing to take the risk maintaining will be more difficult than planting...but hey, it's worth to try, isn't it?

Let's hope this will grow soon, remembering the area is quite wide...I could hook an alphabetical neon sign and this would be a perfect photo background..someday

When? Maybe on my kidos wedding? That long?

Weekend project - 2

My 2nd weekend project was creating necklace from the scrap fabrics.  Hmm, it was not scrap though, I bought the fabrics and the necklace chain from Pasar Mayestik which only costs me few coins...I never realized that Pasar Mayestik has tremendous accessories material collections you could die for...(lebay?)

Weekend Project - 1

last weekend seems to be my busy weekend (yeah..) since it was weekend and vacay together at a moment. 

I was nowhere to go as my kidos were having fever.  After all, I was doing few killing time projects to get me busier than watching CSI rerun again and again (sigh!)

The first one was the tumpeng project.  I made this for my father in law bday party.  Well, it was not actually my handmade ofcourse...it's my maid's.  It's a kinda my tradition to prepare tumpeng for every bday in the family - for the kidos, the hubby, the in-laws- since my eldest 1st year.  However, the tradition was stopped in the last 2 years as the hubby quite bored eating tumpeng on bday and I was also bored in decorating it.

To make this different from other tumpeng, I just printed a necktie cupcake topper free printable from Martha Stewart (I am sorry, I lost the link , but you could go to the Martha Stewart website) and topped it off.  And I also changed the menu a bit, from grilled chicken to pandan leave chicken wrapped though the taste was similar..no brainer!  Below was the result :
