First weekend in KL, nowhere to go...made myself busy walking around the bridge from Bukit Bintang to KLCC...aircon bridge,anyone? how I miss Jakarta!

Pho

Nothing different with Jakarta, well minus the cabe rawit or bird chilli I would say but I was wondering what kind of that green curly veggie, errrr, noodle look alike, in my Pho..First time I see, and it's a bit common here in KL...good combie for My Pho Bo!

Nasi Tomat

My hawker food lunch at Menara Cosway, Kuala Lumpur on my first day here. It's a cheap hawker, traditional ayam goreng with tomato sauce and stir fry vegetable. The rice's fragrant and delicate with a rich sauce..similar to Nasi Rames in Jakarta but the sauce is more to Chinese food taste, maybe because it's made from tomato..and I finished it all with my greedy hunger face! Yummy!

Telaga Sampireun Bintaro

We spent the last two weekends by exploring West Jakarta. We started from Meruya to Tangerang and we thought we'd end up at Living World Alam Sutera. We lost somewhere in between and perfectly landed at Bintaro Jaya finally..don't ask why!

It was a good lost though as we found this resto, Telaga Sampireun.  Good food,huge play park, and the pictures tell u all! Perfect!

Manggala Wanabhakti

Me and the youngest accompanying big bro' for his farewell party at Mangala Wanabhakti Jakarta.

I've been here thousand time and never realized the place is like mini forest in the city...botanical garden look alike..hey, that's the beauty of growing old, isn't it?  appreciate life,appreciate surroundings..even the kiddos loved the place!

and as usual, the hubby out for trip, we did 'what we do when papa is not around' photoshoot...It was such fun!

Another Fun Days

I always feel that Iam not gifted with any drawing or painting skill, but the teachers knew how to teach my kiddos how to draw, and I really love the Cow, the Nemo and the Purple House!

I've been eyeeing on Ni Luh Djelantik Shoes,a well-known high quality Bali craftmanship...
Strolling around her store is breaking my heart...too bad, looks like the 14cm heels are just not into me now, although  those two bright Dewi peptoe looks soo perfect on me, not to mention their wooven heels.  As you grow errr...older, your feet are matched only with the flat ones, not a sky high...I still wish someday I will...

The hubby out for business trip, we made a silly weekend activity.  I put Ikea fabrics on the floor, laid down for photoshoot, uploaded and tagged to papa's Facebook.  We called it 'this is what we do when papa is not around' project!

Udon Tikka Masala

Cooking my homemade chicken tikka masala with udon...just rubbed the chicken with yoghurt and spices, stir with onion and garlic and you're done! Between Japan, India, dined by Indonesian...I think we made a great team up!

It may sound weird but I always feel excited to stroll around Fabrics section at any Ikea store.  Well, I always go straight to this section nothing else...quite cheap, colorful (yes!) and comes in a good quality.  You could not beat 60 thousands rupiah per meter..even when you go to any local store in Jakarta you will find a pricey price!

Minty Mint
